Finding a painter for small jobs can be difficult when larger painting companies prefer whole-house projects. Brad’s handyman painting services are intended for focused repairs and updates such as:
- One room, bedroom, bathroom, or accent wall
- Ceilings, baseboards, trim, and molding
- Interior and exterior doors
- Repaired drywall and textured areas
- Paint touch-ups and peeling-paint repairs
- Suitable fences, gates, sheds, and small exterior surfaces
Every property and surface is different. Brad reviews the condition, access, preparation, and overall scope before accepting a project. If another trade is the better fit, he will tell you upfront.
Interior Painting for Rooms, Trim & Doors
Small interior paint jobs still depend on careful preparation. Depending on the agreed scope, Brad can address minor surface defects, sand rough areas, caulk suitable gaps, spot-prime repairs, and apply the finish coats. That preparation matters around patched walls, baseboards, molding, ceilings, and doors, where dents or uneven edges tend to show through fresh paint.
Brad can also help you think through color and sheen choices for the surface and room. The exact preparation, products, and number of coats are based on the existing condition and the finish you agree on before work begins.
Drywall Repair and Painting
A hole, crack, or damaged patch should be repaired before it is painted. Brad can assess suitable drywall damage, repair the area, match the surrounding texture as closely as the surface allows, and paint the repaired section. This gives you one person to handle both parts of a smaller patch-and-paint job. Learn more about drywall repair and texture work in Long Beach.
Paint Touch-Ups & Peeling-Paint Repairs
Scuffs, nail holes, repaired areas, and isolated peeling paint may not require repainting an entire property. Brad can inspect the area, correct suitable surface problems, and explain whether a local touch-up or repainting a full wall or section is more likely to look consistent.
An exact touch-up match is not always possible. Paint changes with age, sunlight, cleaning, sheen, and the condition underneath it. If you have the original paint can or color information, include that when you request an estimate.
Small Exterior Painting Projects
Brad also handles suitable exterior details such as doors, trim, fences, gates, sheds, and repaired wood sections. Exterior work may call for scraping or sanding loose material, filling or sealing suitable gaps, priming bare areas, and applying the chosen coating. Brad will check the surface first so the quote reflects the preparation it actually needs.
If paint is only one part of the project, Brad can also assess related fence repair or installation and gate repair or installation work.
What Affects the Cost of a Small Painting Job?
Brad offers free estimates rather than a one-price-fits-all rate. The cost of painting one room, one door, or a repaired section can change based on:
- The size of the surface and number of coats
- Cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, or other preparation
- Trim, detailed edges, furniture, and access
- Primer, paint, and other materials needed for the job
For larger or more involved work, Brad may need to see the area in person. Read how Brad prepares a clear, upfront estimate, then send a few details about your project.

Gale C. Yelp ReviewBrad has completed two projects for me, drywall repair with texturing and painting and a separate paint job. Both times he showed up on time, did the work professionally and without issues, and cleaned up completely afterward.
